Class Descriptions and age recommendations

Little Sprouts (6 week program)  -  This class is for our youngest dancers!   We combine Creative Movement and Tumbling in a half hour session that meets once a week for 6 weeks.   This trial class will be offered each season (fall, winter, spring and summer).  If a dancer takes to the class and wants to enroll into the Little Sprout recreational class that participates in the recital they may.  The 6 week program requires only comfortable clothing and socks, no dance shoes required.  This class is perfect for children ages 2-4.   There is never a registration fee for Little Sprouts 6 week class!

This program is $65 for the 6 weeks.    Spring Session begins Saturday, May 4th.


Little Sprouts recreational class - This class is for our youngest dancers!  We combine Creative Movement and Tumbling in a half hour session that meets weekly over the course of the dance year and performs in our annual dance recital in June.  A typical dance year runs 10 months (September - June).  This class will require a leotard, tights and ballet slippers for girls and t-shirts and sweatpants for boys.  Dancers from the 6 week program may join the recreational class up until March to participate in the recital.   This class is perfect for children ages 2-4.  Tuesday afternoon or Saturday mornings available! This program is $40 per month. 


Preschool (Ballet/Tap/Tumble) -  This class is for Preschool age dancers!  Dancers sample a little ballet, tap and tumbling for a funfilled 45 minute class that meets weekly over the course of the dance year and performs in our annual dance recital in June.  This is a great opportunity for young children to make new friends!  This class is perfect for children ages 2 1/2- 4 1/2 This class is offered on weekday mornings (Monday or Tuesday)  and is a great activity to do on a day of the week there is no preschool.  Keep them busy and moving!   This program is $50 per month.


KinderGARDEN recreational class-  This class is for dancers in Pre/K or Kindergarten.  Dancers do a little ballet, tap and tumbling in a funfilled 45 minute class that meets weekly over the course of the dance year and performs in our annual dance recital in June.  This class is perfect for children ages 4-6.   This program is $50 per month.


Elementary recreational class-  This class is for dancers in grades K-2.   Dancers do a half hour each of ballet, jazz, tap and a little tumbling!  These dancers enjoy the variety of 3 styles in one 1 1/2 hour class that meets weekly.  They perform three full routines in our annual dance recital in June but parents only need to purchase ONE costume!  This program is $78 per month.


Junior Level classes-  These classes are for dancers in grades 3-5.  At this age dancers start picking and choosing styles that they would like to study a little more.  This year Junior classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays and run various times depending on style.  Each dance style has it's own dance class and will perform it's own unique routine in our June recital.  We welcome all skill levels in these classes so don't be shy!

Junior Level dancers may take.                               Tuition is based on an hourly scale to keep classes affordable.

Intermediate Level classes-  These classes are for dancers in grades 6-8 (middle school).  Dancers are starting to take their dance experience more seriously at this level.   At this age dancers pick and choose styles that they enjoy.  This year Intermediate classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Each dance style will perform a dance routine in our June recital.  We welcome all skill levels in these classes.


Intermediate Level dancers may take.              Tuition is based on an hourly scale to keep classes affordable.

  • Senior Level Classes-  These classes are for dancers in grades 7 and up for Acrobatics, Modern and Hip Hop and grades 9 and up for Ballet, Jazz and Tap.  Dancers pick and choose dance styles that they enjoy.  This year Senior classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays.   Dancers in our Sr. Ballet class may attend our Intermediate Ballet class as well at no extra charge!  Each class has it's own dance class and will perform it's own unique routine in our June recital.  These classes are more advanced but we welcome all who want to learn!   Tuition is based on an hourly scale to keep classes affordable.

Senior level dancers may take

Adult Jazz Class-  Jazz for ages 18-99!  

Pointe Class-  Pointe is available to dancers who have teacher approval and meet a certain criteria.

TDG Dance Team-  Dancers will be asked to join the team if and when ready through invitation.


Dance classes are based on age and experience.  At The Dance Garden every dancer is important whether they are here for recreational classes or competitive.  

After school activities should be a place where children feel safe and can build confidence!

At The Dance Garden friendships are formed.  We provide more than just dance classes.  We do classes as well as birthday parties, camps, Master classes, competitive opportunities and even events to bring the studio together that are free like our Spring Fling with a visit from the Easter Bunny!
